On Friday, March 21, former Sparta High School standout Ally Sweeney’s current collegiate team the Richmond Spiders won 74-49 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Pauley Pavilion, this was the first game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets during the championship.
The Richmond Spiders’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion against UCLA Bruins.
Ally Sweeney’s hometown is Sparta and game position is guard.
