On Wednesday, April 9, former Hunterdon Central High School standouts Christian Petino Jr. and Jared Jacobus’ current college team, the Caldwell Cougars, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Chestnut Hill Griffins.

The game took place at Ben Hostelley Field. This was their second matchup against the Griffins this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Oval against Georgian Court Lions.
