On Friday, March 28, former Pope John Xxiii High School standout Mac Tufts’ current college team, the Longwood Lancers, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.

The game took place at Buddy Bolding Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.

The Lancers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium against Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
