Hackettstown announces snow emergency and parking ban starting December 13

A snow emergency will begin in the Town of Hackettstown at 11:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025. During this period, parking is not allowed on any town streets, except in municipal lots. Any vehicles left on the street will be ticketed and towed.

Residents with vehicles parked on town streets are asked to remove them by 11:00 PM Saturday. Vehicles should remain off the streets until officials announce that the snow emergency has ended.

The town will notify residents when the snow emergency is lifted through the CivicReady Mass Notification System. To receive these notifications, residents can text “07840” to “38276” or visit https://portal.civicplus.com/NJ-Hackettstown/notifications.
