Mike Inganamort, a public official in New Jersey, shared several posts on his social media account addressing campaign strategy, media interactions, and education policy.
On October 8, 2025, Inganamort commented on the importance of direct voter engagement during election campaigns, stating, “Twenty minutes of downtime between events? That’s plenty of time to get in a few doors. This election is going to be decided that way. Let’s go!” On the same day, he also referenced his approach to tough questions from the press with the post, “Next time a reporter asks me a tough question, I’m going to respond with, ‘I don’t want to have an unhappy experience with you.’ You’re on notice! “
The following day, Inganamort addressed issues related to the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA), saying, “The NJEA as an organization has jumped the shark. New Jersey’s amazing teachers deserve better, to say nothing of the students still catching up from two years of learning loss. Let’s be a serious state again.”
The NJEA is the largest teachers’ union in New Jersey and has been the subject of ongoing debates regarding its influence on state education policy and its response to pandemic-era learning disruptions. The COVID-19 pandemic led to significant learning loss for students across New Jersey, prompting public officials and education advocates to call for reforms and increased support for both teachers and students.
