Mike Inganamort, a public official from New Jersey, recently used his social media platform to comment on state political discourse and school funding issues. On March 23, 2026, Inganamort criticized statements made by the Assembly Democratic Majority regarding the actions of the United States government. He wrote, “The rhetoric from the Assembly Democratic Majority today crossed a line. Suggesting that the United States government is engaging in ‘ethnic cleansing’ here at home is wildly irresponsible and diminishes the gravity of real atrocities. And for Assemblyman Danielsen to invoke”.
Two days later, on March 25, 2026, Inganamort acknowledged local advocacy efforts during an Assembly Budget Committee hearing in Trenton. He stated, “Big voices from Jefferson were heard loud and clear in Trenton today. Thank you to Mayor Wilsusen, Superintendent Howe, BA Rita Giacchi, Tom Fasano, and especially these outstanding students for stepping up and testifying before the Assembly Budget Committee on the urgent need”.
On March 26, 2026, Inganamort addressed concerns about New Jersey’s approach to school funding reform. He argued that increasing funding through existing mechanisms fails to address underlying problems: “There’s a fundamental disconnect in how we approach school funding. Putting more money into a broken formula that picks the same winners and losers year after year doesn’t solve the problem – it makes it worse. If we’re serious about fairness, accountability, and delivering for”.
School funding has been a longstanding issue in New Jersey politics. The state’s current formula has faced criticism for creating disparities between districts over time rather than reducing them.
