Mike Inganamort, a New Jersey state legislator, posted a series of updates on social media between September 11 and September 12, 2025, highlighting local events and community initiatives.
On September 11, Inganamort marked the anniversary of the September 11 attacks by participating in a remembrance event in Vernon. He wrote, “This morning in Vernon, the community gathered to honor the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001—including three of Vernon’s own. Their memory reminds us why it is so important to come together each year in solemn reflection. ‘Never forget’ is more than words—it is a promise.”
The following day, Inganamort visited Sussex County Community College. In his post dated September 12, he stated, “Great to be back at Sussex County Community College for a campus tour and update on new projects with President Cory Homer and Stan Kula. Our county colleges are the backbone of New Jersey’s workforce pipeline, and I’m proud to support them in the Legislature.”
Later that day, Inganamort thanked members of the Netcong Senior Citizen Club after attending one of their meetings. He reminded residents about property tax relief programs available in New Jersey: “Thank you to the Netcong Senior Citizen Club for a great discussion today and for all the thoughtful questions. A quick reminder: New Jersey’s property tax relief programs — including the Senior Freeze — are now combined on one application. The deadline to apply is October 31.”
New Jersey’s “Senior Freeze” program provides eligible senior citizens with reimbursement for increases in property taxes on their principal residence. Recent changes have streamlined applications by combining several property tax relief programs into a single form.
