On Tuesday, April 1, former Pope John Xxiii High School standout J.C. Franconere’s current college team, the Quinnipiac Bobcats, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UConn Huskies.
The game took place at Elliot Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 12 p.m. at John P. Bobo Field against Niagara Purple Eagles.
