On Wednesday, March 18, Ally Sweeney, a former standout from Sparta High School, and her current college team, the Richmond Spiders, were defeated 75-56 by the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup was held at Cameron Indoor Stadium and tipped off at 6 p.m.
Sweeney tallied nine points, five assists, two steals and one rebound over 32 minutes on the court.
