On Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m., Siena Saints, featuring former Sparta High School standout Evan Saulys, dropped a 12-3 decision to the Fairfield Stags in NCAA Division I baseball.

The matchup at Connors Park marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Siena defeated Fairfield 6-5 during their previous contest on Friday, March 6.

Saulys pitched 0.2 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out one batter.

The Saints are set to face Fairfield Stags again at Connors Park on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.
