Census Bureau: More women than men in Sussex County in 2019

Of the 141,483 people living in Sussex County in 2019, 50.2 percent (71,072) were women and 49.8 percent (70,411) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NW Jersey News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 44,869-to-44,513. In the 65 and over age range, there were 12,754 females and 10,909 males.
