Census Bureau: More women than men in Sussex County in 2020

Of the 140,996 people living in Sussex County in 2020, 50.2 percent (70,718) were women and 49.8 percent (70,278) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NW Jersey News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 577. In the 65 and over age range, there were 13,128 females and 11,355 males.
