Centenary University hosted sixth graders from Blairstown Elementary School for an interactive Shakespeare-themed day.
The middle schoolers attended the original play, Shake It Up Shakespeare, written by Centenary University Associate Professor of Theatre Arts Stephen Davis and performed by alumni of the University’s theatre program.
Workshops in stage combat, theatrical makeup, dance in theatre, and acting followed the production.
The program is part of a Shakespeare Intensive for middle school students developed by Davis. https://centu.org/3NmdUbu
