The Warren County Mosquito Commission is seeking applicants for seasonal positions as Assistant Inspectors. The roles are available from May through August, with some flexibility to accommodate school schedules and the possibility of an earlier start in April. Training may be scheduled during spring break or before the official work period.

Duties for these positions include inspecting mosquito larval habitats, setting traps for adult mosquitoes, and responding to service requests from residents throughout Warren County. Training will be provided, and new hires will need to obtain a New Jersey Pesticide Operator or Applicator license.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and have an interest in biological or environmental sciences. The starting wage is $16 per hour. The commission highlights that the position offers hands-on experience, opportunities for independent outdoor work, and can serve as a valuable reference for future job opportunities.

Interested individuals can call 908-453-3585 or email cfisher@warrencountymosquito.org for more information or to apply.
